Incubators: a place to develop your project

Looking for a place to develop your project? Incubators are a specific support structure that helps project leaders refine their idea, assess its relevance and find resources. In Wallonia, there are several incubators to suit different profiles. At SPW, we finance three technology incubators and one incubator specialising in the social economy.

What do incubators do?

Incubators are support structures that combine business-specific skills with expertise in business start-ups. They generally offer three types of service:

  • Start-up expertise: support in defining your business model and business plan, legal and intellectual property advice, communication and marketing services, themed training courses, etc.
  • Resources: premises, services, equipment, technology, capital, etc.
  • Networking to find partners, customers, investors, beta testers, etc.
