This development is part of a wider context: a legislative reform is currently under review, with a view to modernising and adapting the legal framework to the current economic reality.
As a reminder, while jurisdiction over commercial leases was transferred to the Regions in 2014, this transfer had never been fully implemented in Wallonia. But now it's been taken care of. Wallonia is officially responsible for this area, with the aim of providing better support for local economic players.
