What information should you prepare to complete your Class 3 declaration?

In order to correctly complete your environmental declaration, make sure you have the following information in particular:

General information

  • your BCE number
  • your full contact details:
    • as a natural person (individual or self-employed person)
    • or as a legal person
  • the purpose of the application, to be selected from:
    • bringing a new establishment into operation
    • maintaining in operation a Class 3 establishment following a change in the nomenclature
    • maintaining in operation an establishment whose declaration is due to expire
    • bringing an existing establishment back into operation (for example after a period of inactivity, unemployment or a fire)
    • extension or transformation of an establishment
    • relocation of the establishment

Attach a signed mandate if a third party submits the application on your behalf. They then become the recipient of communications relating to the follow-up of your file.

Technical and location information

  • the heading or headings concerned (number and wording)
  • a description of the main activities, specifying:
    • the machines used
    • the installations
    • the associated deposits or storage facilities
  • the full address of the establishment
  • the cadastral situation:
    • parcel number
    • INS code of the municipality and division
    • section
    • number, letter, exponent or divisor
  • the town-planning information:
    • designation in the sector plan
    • designation in the local orientation scheme
    • any location in a non-expired housing estate (with reference)

Specific environmental impacts

  • any impact on Natura 2000:
    • establishment located within or near (500 m) a Natura 2000 site or candidate site
    • site reference
    • where applicable, the management units concerned
